Product Properties

7050 is a high-strength heat-treatable alloy with high strength and resistance to spalling and stress corrosion cracking. Commonly used in aircraft structural parts for plate extrusions, free forgings and die forgings.

Performance

The main alloying element of 7075 series aluminum alloy is zinc. Addition of magnesium to the alloy containing 3%-75% zinc can form MgZn2 with significant strengthening effect, so that the heat treatment effect of the alloy far outperforms the aluminum-zinc binary alloy. In the zinc and magnesium content, the tensile hardness will have to be further improved, but its ability to resist stress corrosion and exfoliation corrosion will decrease. After heat treatment, it can achieve very high strength characteristics. The material is generally added A small amount of copper and other alloys such as chromium. The Department of 7075-7651 aluminum alloy as the top grade, known as the most excellent aluminum alloy products, high strength, far better than mild steel. This alloy has good Mechanical properties and anode reactions. Mainly used in aerospace, mold processing, machinery and equipment. Fixtures, especially for aircraft manufacturing structures and other high-stress structures that require high strength and strong corrosion resistance.
