5454 is anti-rust aluminum sheet and it is similar with 5154,but corrosion resistance is better.
5754 aluminum alloy is a typical alloy of Al-Mg elements with moderate strength, excellent processing performance, good corrosion resistance, weldability and easy forming characteristics. 5754 aluminum sheet of different heat treatments are the main materials of manufacturing automotive industry (such as car door, mold, seal components), and the canning industry.
5182 aluminum belongs to the Al-Mg-Si alloy, and used widely, especially in the construction industry, it has been recognized as the most promising alloy with good corrosion resistance, weldability, cold processing property, and moderate strength. The Mg and Si are added to 5182, so the welding, spot welding and roll welding properties of 5182 aluminum sheet are pretty good.
Performance:
5754 aluminum sheet is widely used for welding structures, storage tanks, pressure vessels, ship structure and offshore facilities, transport tanks. In addition, currently the domestic application of this alloy are various in high-speed rail, commonly used in high-speed rail barriers, sheet metal and internal structure welding.
Easy coloring in post-processing makes it often use to produce high-end doors and windows. For same area, Al-Mg alloy doors and windows are much lighter than other materials. 5754 aluminum is also suitable for the military industry of domestic, such as fuel tanks of aircraft.
5182 aluminum sheet does well in processing cans cover, car body panels, operation panel, stiffeners, brackets and other components. It can also used for manufacturing aircraft fuel tanks, fuel lines, and metal sheet parts of transportation vehicles, vessels, instruments, lights bracket and rivets, hardware and shells of electrical appliances.
