High quality 5A05 Aluminum Sheet for Parts in Liquid or Gas
Description: 5A05 aluminum sheets belong to Al-Mg aluminum alloy, which have the same strength with 5A03. 5A05 aluminum sheets are non-heat treatable, which have high plasticity in annealed condition, medium plasticity during half-hardening, good weldability by using atomic hydrogen welding, spot welding, gas welding and argon arc welding; 5A05 aluminum sheets also have high corrosion resistance; the machinability is not so good in annealed condition while better during half-hardening; when manufacturing rivet, anodization is required.
It is mainly used on low load parts working in liquid or gas and require high formability and weldability, such as oil tank, gasoline or lubricate pipe, liquid container, and other low load parts made by deep drawing. Wire rods are used to make rivets.
