Product Properties

5182 aluminum belongs to the Al-Mg-Si alloy, and used widely, especially in the construction industry, it has been recognized as the most promising alloy with good corrosion resistance, weldability, cold processing property, and moderate strength. The Mg and Si are added to 5182, so the welding, spot welding and roll welding properties of 5182 aluminum sheet are pretty good.

5182 belongs to Al-Mg series alloys and it has a wide range of applications, especially in the construction industry. It is the most promising alloy. Good corrosion resistance, excellent weldability, good cold workability, and moderate strength. The main alloying element of 5052 is magnesium, which has good forming performance, corrosion resistance, weldability and medium strength. It is used to make aircraft fuel tanks, tubing, and sheet metal parts for transportation vehicles and ships, instrumentation, streetlight brackets and rivets, Hardware products, electrical enclosures, etc.
