6005 is Al-Mg alloy aluminum product .It is used as rust-proof aluminum sheet widely,especially in the construction industry . It can not deal with heat treatment but it can be polished.

Performance:
1)good corrosion resistance, good weldability, good cold workability, moderate strength;
2)high strength, especially with anti-fatigue strength, plasticity and high corrosion resistance;
3) good forming processing performance;
Mg and Si are added to 6061 aluminum sheet/coil, thus, it has middle strength and good resistance to
correction. Cu and Zn can also improve the strength of aluminum alloy. Besides, 6061 aluminum sheet/coil
probably the most commonly available, heat treatable aluminum alloy. 6061 aluminum sheet/coil can be easily
cold worked and formed in the annealed condition. Stamping, bending, spinning, deep drawing are all readily
accomplished using standard methods. By adding copper, 6061 aluminum sheet/coil has 40% electrical
conductivity.
