6082 aluminum plate is a heat treatment can strengthen the alloy, with good formability, weldability, machinability and corrosion resistance, while with moderate strength, after annealing can still maintain good operability, mainly for mechanical structure , Including bar, sheet, pipe and profiles.

PERFORMANCE

6061
Mg and Si are added to 6061 aluminum sheet/coil, thus, it has middle strength and good resistance to correction. Cu and Zn can also improve the strength of aluminum alloy. Besides, 6061 aluminum sheet/coil probably the most commonly available, heat treatable aluminum alloy. 6061 aluminum sheet/coil can be easily cold worked and formed in the annealed condition. Stamping, bending, spinning, deep drawing are all readily accomplished using standard methods. By adding copper, 6061 aluminum sheet/coil has 40% electrical conductivity.

6063
The aluminum 6063 has generally good mechanical properties and is heat treatable and highly wieldable. The material can be re-heat-treated to restore a higher temper for the whole piece. However it has half the strength of aluminum 6061 alloys. It is typically produced with very smooth surfaces fit for anodizing and often used to make auto parts, architectural fabrication, window and door frames, aluminium furniture, electronic components as well as various consumer durable products.
