High Strength 5A06 Aluminum Sheet

Description: 5A06 aluminum sheets belong to Al-Mg series anti-rust aluminum, which have high strength and corrosion stability. 5A06 aluminum sheets have good plasticity in annealed and extruded condition, and adequate air tightness and plasticity after argon arc welding; the welding joint strength by gas welding and spot welding is 90 ~ 95% of the matrix strength; and the machinability is also good.

5A06 aluminum sheets are widely applied to ships/vessels, vehicles, automobile and inserter welding assemblies, subway/light rail, fire proof pressure vessels, refrigeration equipment, television tower, drilling equipment, transport and communication facilities, missile elements, plate armors and so on.

5A06 aluminum sheets are also suitable for tanks or tubes on aircrafts, stamping parts on vehicles or ships, instruments, street lamp holders, rivets, hardware, electrical casings, etc.  

What`s more, they are mainly used on low load parts working in liquid or gas and require high formability and weldability, such as oil tank, gasoline or lubricate pipe, liquid container, and other low load parts made by deep drawing. Wire rods are used to make rivets.
